Niche Distributors was established in 2006 when it was noticed that the Retail Food market in the EC was not as developed in product offering as the other major centers within SA resulting in very limited choices for consumers.

It also seemed that focus by large corporate competitors was on major retail chains leaving a huge market of independent retailers unserviced.

A garage and a few Wendy houses at our home in a nearby seaside village soon became too small for our warehousing requirements. The trucks arriving in the early hours of the morning was not conducive to making good neighbours either, so we decided to move into suitable premises in Port Elizabeth a few months after selling our first product.

Our values have remained intact since those early days, keeping our attention firmly on our customers, offering great value products accompanied by great service by happy motivated staff to major chains as well as smaller independently owned businesses.

We remain humble enough to be able to listen to what our customers require.

 

The Office Team

The Office Team is based in Port Elizabeth and consists of Andrew, Tanja, Leonora, Keri Lee and Cynthea. This team is responsible for the general management of the business and making sure that customer orders become delivered parcels within a suitable time.

The Warehousing Team


The Warehousing Team consists of four highly energetic people, Nate, Blessed, Dillon and Renato. They are responsible for receiving stock and the picking and packing of customer orders.

 

Port Elizabeth Sales and Merchandising Team

The Port Elizabeth-based Sales and Merchandising Team is led by our sales manager Lindy who runs the team consisting of  Barry and Matthew. They ensure that customers are assisted in the ordering process and are great ambassadors for both our company and the products they represent. They are supported by a very creative and dynamic merchandising team led by Brian, Dylan, Marvin, Brent, Sizwe, Deovaan and Thozama.

 

The Garden Route Team

The Garden Route Team is led by Stephen who covers a wide area extending from Mosselbay to Plettenberg Bay. He is well supported by a merchandising team consisting of Marcellus, Theoand and Arno. This dynamic team also pays close attention to customer needs and together achieves great things in their beautiful territory.

 

The East London Team

Our  East London Team is proudly headed by Lindy.
She is supported by Vanessa and Joshua
Together they effectively service the East London area to ensure many happy customers.
